Travis Scott Thanks The Weeknd for Bringing Him on His First Arena Tour in 2015

Travis Scott has given The Weeknd flowers for inviting him on his first arena tour as an opening act in 2015.

During the Sydney, Australia stop on his Circus Maximus tour, La Flame took time out to bring The Weeknd on stage to surprise fans while thanking the Toronto native for giving him one of the biggest opportunities of his career. Back in 2015, The Weeknd had Scott join his The Madness Fall Tour as an opening act, which was the latter’s first time performing in arenas.

“This man right here let me open up for two tours,” Scott told the crowd. “He gave me my first arena tour ever…If it wasn’t for this guy right now, I probably wouldn’t be on this stage right now. So I just want to say this shit right here to my XO brothers man I love you n***as for life.”

Scott embraced The Weeknd as the Sydney crowd cheered them on. The respect that these two have for each other runs deep and they’ve even helped each other out on various songs such as “Pray 4 Lov,” “Wonderful,” and “Wake Up.”

Travis Scott has been busy in addition to his Circus Maximus tour as he’s been announced as the Artistic Director for the 2024 edition of ComplexCon in Las Vegas. With his contributions dubbed as CactusCon, Scott’s creative direction will see his Cactus Jack collective bringing its signature approach to convention through exclusive merch, pop-ups, and more. He is also scheduled to perform.
