New York City is known as one of the entertainment capitals of the world, but what about the other side of New York? Upstate, artists in cities like Buffalo, Albany and Syracuse have experienced almost the exact opposite living in the shadow of NYC. Lately, though, artists like the Griselda Records camp have brought attention areas like Rockland County, allowing for artists in those areas to start breaking through as well. One of those artists is Rxlph, who checks into our pages for the first time with his intriguing new video for, “clip 4.”
Directed by Micvision, “clip 4.,” is an intricate video that finds Rxlph in the studio recording the record. Armed with ambient lighting that helps drive home his mysterious personality, he conveys enough energy and charisma to quickly keep the viewer entertained. These qualities also mesh well with the record, as Rxlph’s impressive ability to bend his vocals in different ways perfectly compliments the energy being displayed on screen.
