Meek Mill Wants Promo Like D4vd for His Album Rollout

Meek Mill wants to know who to call so he can get the same level of publicity that D4vd is currently getting due to the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was found in a car registered to the singer.

Meek shared an article about D4vd transferring the deeds from his Texas home to his mother’s name and wrote as if he wanted a similar volume of coverage — with no indication in the post that he understood why D4vd was in so many headlines.

“I need his promo for my album rollout,” wrote Mill on a now-deleted Instagram Story, viewed by Complex and viewable below by you. “Who do I call?”

It is unclear from Meek’s post whether he understands the full context of the investigation into Hernandez’s death.

The article that Mill reposted covered the legal documents that revealed D4vd’s transferred deeds in September.

One of those changes happened on Sept. 18, which was the same day that police were called to the Houston home after a swatting call, in which someone falsely reported a dead female there after a shooting. The deed for the other residence was transferred on Sept. 22.

D4vd has yet to speak publicly about Hernandez’s death since her body was discovered in a Tesla — registered to him — back in September. He canceled the remaining U.S. dates on his tour as the investigation into her death continued.

In a statement about D4vd, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that he isn’t a suspect in Hernandez’s death, because her cause of death has not yet been determined.

“The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not yet determined the cause or manner of Ms. Rivas Hernandez’s death,” the statement said. “As such, it remains unclear whether there is any criminal culpability beyond the concealment of her body.”

Late last month, the Los Angeles Police Department revealed that it was “very likely” that Hernandez had been dead for “several weeks” before her body was discovered.

Since the discovery of Hernandez’s body, speculation about D4vd’s connection to the girl surfaced due to reports that he has a “Shhh” tattoo that’s similar in placement to one that’s on her body. He’d also allegedly recorded a song called “Celeste.”
