Maxo Kream Is Glad He’s Dropping ‘Personification’: ‘Everybody Else Sh*ts Succ Rn Besides Tyler’

Maxo Kream’s latest album, Personification, is here.

On Thursday, the Houston rapper noted that he released his project at the perfect time. “I’m so glad I’m droppin cuz everybody else shits succ rn besides tyler,” he tweeted, speaking of Tyler, the Creator’s latest effort, Chromakopia.

Prior to that, Maxo gave a shout-out to the handful of people in his life who have passed away.

Personification includes a feature from Tyler on the song, “Cracc Era.” The single, which first arrived in September, is the pair’s second collaboration following the release of “Big Persona” in 2021. Personification also features guest appearances from Rob49, Skilla Baby, That Mexican OT, and Denzel Curry, among others.

The album showcases Maxo Kream’s talent for storytelling, weaving a narrative through the lens of his three distinct personas: Trigger Maxo, Punken (a.k.a. Maxo C), and Emekwanem. Trigger Maxo is his no-filter, very raw street side, Punken is his introspective side, and Emekwanem, his current self, is him as a father and mentor.
