Madonna Celebrates 29-Year-Old Boyfriend Akeem Morris’ Birthday: ‘A Night to Remember’

Madonna says her boyfriend Akeem Morris’ 28th birthday bash was “a night to remember.”

The 66-year-old Queen of Pop shared snapshots of the birthday party to her Instagram on Sunday, attended by her three youngest daughters (19-year-old Mercy, and 12-year-old twins Stella and Estere) and featured a performance by YG Marley.

“Happy Birthday to my favorite Taurus ♉️ @akkmorris,” wrote the “Material Girl” singer on IG. “Thank you @ygmarley for joining us. Its was a night to remember. 🇯🇲 🖤🇯🇲🖤🇯🇲. One Love……..”

The carousel post included shots of herself sitting on Morris’ lap and, in another, leading a birthday song.

In his own Instagram post, Morris wrote, “All I can say is thank you. Thank you wifey ❤️ Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with me last night. Thank you to those who worked behind the scenes to create such an unforgettable vibe. It meant so much to have the people I love and respect all in one room. It was a special night, and the energy in the room was nothing but love Blessings to @ygmarley for the performance 🇯🇲.”

According to Elle, the couple became public since the summer of 2024, a year after the singer recovered from a near-fatal bacterial infection.

Since then, she and Morris, a Jamaican-born soccer player living in New York, have traveled together, celebrated holidays side-by-side, and appeared at events including her birthday in Italy and Billie Eilish’s concert in New York City last October.
