Ghostface Killah Wants Some Tyler, the Creator Beats: ‘He Might Gotta Send Me the Pack’

Ghostface Killah shouted out Tyler, the Creator as a producer who he wants to get in the lab with.

The Supreme Clientele 2 rapper recently sat down with Apple Music 1’s Ebro Darden, who played Ghostface “Ring Ring Ring” from Tyler, the Creator’s new album, Don’t Tap the Glass. The Wu-Tang Clan member was in disbelief while listening to the song and gave it his stamp of approval by repeating “Music!”

“The kids gon’ be alright, my dude!” Ebro said in the Instagram Reel below, to which Ghostface agreed.

“I thought Michael [Jackson] was about to come in,” Ghostface continued.

“Now you know, he’s producing all of this, bro,” Ebro told Ghostface. “Tyler doing all the music, everything himself.”

“Oh yeah?” the rapper replied. “He might gotta send me the pack. I ain’t know he was doing that.”

Ghostface wouldn’t be the first artist to nab beats from the Odd Future frontman, as the two-time Grammy winner has also produced for ScHoolboy Q, Westside Gunn, SZA and ASAP Rocky.

Ghostface’s MJ reference was appropriate, since Tyler recently told Zane Lowe that he wanted dance music to be the basis of his new LP.

“Some people hear the idea of dance music, and they’re like, ‘Oh, it’s techno or deep house, or it’s this certain sound.’ Bro, if you grew up with Black folk, ‘Ring Ring Ring’ is another one,” he told Lowe in the video below.
