Frances Bean Cobain and Riley Hawk Welcome Baby Son Ronin Walker: ‘We Love You More Than Anything’
Frances Bean Cobain and her husband, Riley Hawk, are officially parents.
In a post shared to her Instagram account on Sunday, the 32-year-old daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain announced that she welcomed her first child with husband Riley Hawk, 31, son of Tony Hawk.
Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk was born on September 17, according to the IG post. Cobain also included a few candid, black-and-white snapshots of the newborn wrapped in a blanket and being held by dad Riley.
“Welcome to the world most beautiful son. We love you more than anything,” Cobain wrote as the caption.
The newborn also makes Tony Hawk, 56, a grandfather for the first time. The legendary pro skater took to the comments section to write, “My favorite grandson!”
On the other hand, Frances is Kurt Cobain’s only child, whom he welcomed with Courtney Love in 1992. The late rocker tragically died by suicide in 1994 at age 27.
Frances and Riley were first believed to be romantically linked in January 2021. Frances had previously been married to musician Isaiah Silva before filing for divorce in March 2016. The two were involved in a custody battle over the Martin D-18E guitar that Kurt used during Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged episode.
According to TMZ, Frances and Riley tied the knot last October in a ceremony held in Los Angeles, California.
