Fifth returns to his purpose on “Chasin’ Dreams” [video]
Bay Area raised rapper FIFTH recently released his 7 track body of work titled One Years Old and now he is back with a new video for “Chasin’ Dreams.” The Koast produced track is one of the triumphant singles off the project that showcases Fifth’s lyrical prowess. He poetically weaves in highly personal moments of his life with lines like, “They couldn’t see my vision, now it’s quite clear, they said I’d never make it, b***h I’m right here!”
The accompanying music video directed by ShotByStarks takes the viewers through the streets of San Francisco, CA. It serves as a dynamic representation of the strides that Fifth has made both personally and professionally as a musician as he returns to his old stomping grounds to celebrate his success with the individuals who supported him from day one. Draped in his own clothing brand with the lettering One Years Old, and BLM on the jacket, the music video serves as an opportunity to show he’s unafraid to be an artist that leverages his platform to take a stance on the issues currently facing black America.
