Drake Takes on Omarion in Dance Battle At 2000s-Themed Birthday Party
Drake found himself battling Omarion in a dance-off during his 2000s-themed party for his 38th birthday.
While the singer was performing a medley of hits for guests at Houston’s Escape nightclub, the 6 God interrupted the set to get into a dance battle with Omarion. While O pulled off a series of moves, he tapped Drizzy to come on stage and answer back with some fluid movements of his own.
The two traded moves for a few moments before Drake embraced Omarion and said, “I would dance battle the fuck out [of you].”
In addition to their battle, Drake and Omarion performed the So Far Gone collaboration “Bria’s Interlude.” Drake also paid tribute to the 39-year-old, saying, “This is one of the first people that ever supported me in my career. Shout out to O. Humble beginnings. Thank you for trusting in us, believing in us, and being here.”
Omarion replied in an X post, “Since 2009 I been ‘So far gone’ a genuine moment.Flew to Houston for the birthday vibes. @Drake [Scorpio] season is a reason! #ScorpioSeason HBD Luv.”
In addition to battling Omarion in a dance-off, Drake also took time out to hilariously reflect on his old beef with Ludacris. According to Drake, Luda dated his first girlfriend and had a bone to pick with him because of it.
“I used to beef with Ludacris because he dated my first girlfriend, swear to God. I used to have beef with Ludacris,” he said to his guest with some laughter. “Shoutout to Ludacris, though.”
