Diddy’s ‘Monster’s Ball’ Inmate Costume Sells for $24,500 at Auction

Diddy’s prison outfit from his role in Monster’s Ball has been sold at an auction.

According to GWS Auctions, the outfit includes a white Hanes t-shirt, a light grey cut-off sweatshirt, Faded Glory blue jeans, and black canvas slip-on shoes, plus a production tag listing details about its use in the film.

The auction attracted 49 bids and sold on Saturday (June 7) for a whopping $24,510.

The prison outfit from the 2001 film was worn during an earlier scene where Diddy’s character, Lawrence Musgrove, says goodbye to his son and wife before being executed.

Monster’s Ball was a critical success and earned Halle Berry an Oscar, making her the first and only African-American woman to win Best Actress.

According to Complex reporter Shawn Setaro earlier this week, a woman referred to as Jane Doe testified that during a threesome with Diddy and a male escort, Diddy referred to the encounter as a “trifecta.” He allegedly likened himself to Michael Jordan, Jane Doe to Kobe Bryant, and the escort to Shaquille O’Neal. She also mentioned calling Diddy and Paul “my boys.”

Diddy’s federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial became heated on Tuesday during a cross-examination between his lawyer, Teny Geragos, and a former romantic partner known as Jane Doe. The tense moment centered around a text message exchange between Diddy and the woman.

Diddy is currently facing life in prison if convicted in his ongoing federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial.
