Chief Keef and Nardwuar Link Up for New Interview

Chief Keef and Nardwuar kicked off the new year with a new interview.

For his first interview of 2025, the Human Serviette and Sosa talked about everything from his career, influences, and other personal anecdotes at the rapper’s Glod Mine Studio.

Throughout their conversation, Nardwuar surprised Keef with personalized gifts including an Oceans Eleven and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle vinyl records, inspired by his love of the two franchises. In honor of one of Keef’s grandmother’s favorite artists, he was also given a Donny Hathaway compilation album.

Although he says he prefers to eat homemade food instead of take out these days, Keef apparently makes an exception for White Castle.

“That’s some Chicago stuff,” he said at the 15 minute mark in the video linked above. “When I was little, I used to go to White Castles and get sliders. And we still go to White Castles now, I send my assistant to White Castle sometimes too.”

When asked about opening up his own franchise, he said, “That’s the thing that I’ve been wanting to do.”

White Castle isn’t the only fast food chain that’s close to his heart. In typical Nardwuar fashion of asking questions with obscure anecdotes most people wouldn’t know, he asked Keef about his mother working at an Arby’s to help support his music career.

“I forgot all a-fucking about that, dude,” Keef said. “My mama bought me—I forgot what she bought me. You know more than me for real, for real.”
