Post Malone’s Arizona Fan Toast Goes Sideways

When Post Malone raises a red Solo cup, you raise yours back. Unless, of course, the stage gives out beneath him.

During his Big A** Stadium Tour stop in Glendale, Arizona, the 29-year-old “Congratulations” singer took a sudden fall mid-song while making his way toward the front of the stage.

In a fan-filmed TikTok shared Sunday, June 22, Malone leaned in to toast a drink with an audience member during “Somebody Pour Me a Drink” — then lost his footing and went down hard when the floor panel beneath him shifted.

“I didn’t mean to almost break your back,” the fan wrote over the video. In the caption, they added, “I am SO sorry Austin. I love you! Such an amazing show ❤️.” Despite the spill, Malone seemed unfazed and kept the show going.

Reactions poured in as soon as the clip hit the internet.

“I’d pass away if I did that to THE Post Malone 😂💀,” one person wrote.

“This would keep me up at night for the rest of my life 😭,” another teased.

“Who builds these stages for Austin? Come on. Protect that guy,” chimed in a third.

“You can officially say post Malone fell for you 🤣,” someone else joked.

Malone isn’t the only artist to take an unexpected dive mid-show. In April, Kelsea Ballerini took a spill off a moving platform while singing “Friends in Low Places” in Toronto, but quickly bounced back and finished her set. And at Coachella, rising artist d4vd attempted a backflip, only to land flat on his face.

As for Malone, he’s been here before. In 2022, the rapper-turned-country star fell through an open trap door mid-song in St. Louis, smacked his ribs on the stage, and still managed to finish the show.

“Everything’s good,” he told fans via X (formerly Twitter) afterward. “They gave me some pain meds and everything, so we can keep kicking a** on the tour.”
