DDG Offers IShowSpeed $2 Million to Make a ‘Quick Little Cameo’ in His Music Video: ‘Let Me Know’

DDG wants IShowSpeed to make an appearance in his new music video and has a hefty incentive to make it happen.

In a recent livestream, the online personality-turned-rapper inquired how much Speed would charge for an appearance fee in one of DDG’s music videos—presumably for a track off of his upcoming album, Blame the Chat, which is set for release on Friday (May 2).

“How much is it gonna cost me? How much you gonna charge me, Speed?” asked the rapper, as seen in a clip circulating online.

“I know YouTube ain’t got subs, I know they got members. I come in roughly around like two million. Two million dollars, three hour shoot, quick little cameo—take you 40 minutes of your time,” he added. “You let me know, brother.”

A $2 million fee might come as a surprise to some, considering a confession he made recently in regards to his finances.

“I have to make money. Bills are high,” said DDG. “Did I tell you how much my bills is a month? N***a, my bills high as shit. If I don’t work, I’mma go broke ASAP.”

“Like, I have to work. I don’t have a choice,” he continued. “It ain’t ’bout me trying to pocket some money. I have multiple homes, multiple cars. I have family. I have a child. I spend a lot of money.”

Earlier this year, DDG told Speedy Morman on Complex’s 360 With Speedy that an online report placing his net worth at $8 million was “not accurate.”

He joked the estimate was “$80 million off” before telling Morman, “I’m a Libra though. [We] be lying and shit.”
