Lamar Odom Speculates Drugs Caused Liam Payne to Hallucinate Prior to Death

Lamar Odom cannot help but wonder if Liam Payne had been hallucinating prior to his fatal fall from a hotel balcony in Argentina after initial autopsy results revealed the singer reportedly had pink cocaine in his system.

“Drugs can cause you to hallucinate and if he was in a hallucination state, then who knows what happened,” Odom told TMZ.

When told Payne was allegedly on pink cocaine, or tusi, which consists of a combination of ketamine, MDMA, meth, coke, opioids and caffeine, Odom confirmed he has heard voices while on drugs and felt a sense of paranoia, especially on crack.

“If you’re hearing voices, then you know, it’s hard to escape those voices,” the former NBA player admitted.

ABC News reported an unspecified bottle of alcohol and a makeshift aluminum pipe were also recovered from the hotel room where he was staying.

According to AP News, local officials suspect Payne fell into a state of unconsciousness and had been “going through some kind of substance abuse episode” based on a lack of defensive injuries sustained on his hands.

Medical examiners have determined Payne’s cause of death was “multiple trauma,” as well as “internal and external bleeding.”
