Madonna Reunites With All Six Children For 66th Birthday Bash: ‘La Dolce Vida’

Madonna managed to get all of her children together in one place and has the pictures to prove it.

The Queen of Pop shared a series of photos to her Instagram from her son Rocco’s 24th birthday bash in Italy. The mother and son dined seemingly at a restaurant overlooking the coast wearing matching floral outfits and a massive birthday cake with “Happy Birthday Rocco” on the base.

The “Material Girl” singer’s photo carousel also featured a mix of other photos from a separate celebration for her 66th birthday on August 16, which she also spent in Pompeii, Italy.

However, the real show-stopping photo featured Madge posing with all six of her children, including Rocco, Lourdes, 27, Mercy, 18, David, 18, and twins twins Stella and Estere, 11.

Madonna recently wrapped her Celebration Tour in May, where she performed with Estere, Mercy, and David on stage. The tour was originally scheduled to begin last July in Vancouver but was postponed after the singer was hospitalized for a life-threatening bacterial infection a month prior.

During her December 16 concert in Brooklyn, New York, Madonna told the audience that being admitted into the ICU was one of the rare times she was able to get all of her children under one roof. She also recalled that the near-death experience reminded her of losing her own mother to breast cancer at 30 when Madonna was only 5 years old.

“There were a couple of things I thought about when I first became conscious and I saw my six incredible children sitting around me,” Madonna said, per E News. “By the way, I had to almost die to get all my kids in one room.”

She continued, “And I was thinking, ‘What if I left my children?’ That would destroy me to leave my children at this moment in their lives. I wasn’t thinking about me. I was thinking about them, and I was thinking about my mother and how scared she must have been to know that she was going to leave us all behind.”

Fortunately, Madonna made a full recovery and performed what became the biggest concert of her career at the Copacabana Beach in Brazil on May 4 to a whopping 1.6 million fans, per Billboard.

Madonna welcomed her first child, Lourdes, in October 1996 with then-boyfriend Carlos Leon. Her son Rocco Ritchie, whom she shares with director Guy Ritchie, was born in Los Angeles in August 2000.

The adoption of her son David, born September 2005, was approved in May 2008. She also adopted then-3-year-old Mercy in 2009, and then twins Stella and Estere in February 2017 when they were 5 years old.
