YoungBoy Never Broke Again Reportedly Transferred From Prison to Residential Reentry Facility
YoungBoy Never Broke Again has been moved from federal prison in Alabama to a residential reentry management facility in Phoenix, WVUE reported on Tuesday.
The I Just Got a Lot on My Shoulders artist was reportedly transferred from Federal Correctional Institution Talladega to the Phoenix facility, which is part of the Bureau of Prisons system that oversees inmates in halfway houses or under supervised release.
“Before it was reported that the 25-year-old rapper had been moved from federal prison to a reentry management facility, his associate OG 3Three shared a photo with YoungBoy, stating that he was “finally back home.”
YoungBoy’s transfer comes notably sooner than his initial expected release date in July. Lawyers for the rapper said the move was meant to provide a “safer environment,” per WVUE.
NBA YoungBoy’s legal issues have been numerous over his prolific career, culminating with a deal in December that was reported at the time to have him looking at just under two years behind bars.
That’s what he was sentenced to while already in custody in Utah following his arrest earlier that year in connection with multiple alleged offenses, identity fraud and possession of a dangerous weapon among them.
Complex has reached out to a rep for YoungBoy Never Broke Again for comment.
More Leaks, a compilation serving as NBA YoungBoy’s most recent project as of this writing, recently debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
