Watch Snoop Dogg and Al Roker Put Weed-Friendly Spin on the Weather Report

It’s 420 every day with Snoop Dogg as meteorologist.

On Thursday (Oct. 17), the “That Tree” rapper was a guest on TODAY, where he delivered a marijuana-friendly forecast alongside NBC‘s longtime weatherman and journalist, Al Roker. While Roker laughed through the segment that featured a “special map,” Snoop announced the weather like a pro and shouted out U.S. cities with weed-affiliated names.

“Al, it’s 57 degrees in Mary Jane Falls Nevada? “And then I heard it was going to be 56 degrees in Stoner, Colorado,” Snoop began in the video above.

“But my favorite is when it’s nice, hot, and misty outside. 84 degrees in Blunt, South Dakota. Sliding on down to this area right here, above the average highs, 70 degrees in Roach, Missouri. And over here, we stay lucky in Kentucky. It’s gonna be 60 degrees in Blaze, Kentucky,” he continued.

Other cities that got mentions on the map were High Point, North Carolina, Tokeland, Washington, Weed California, Smoke Rise, Alabama, Pottsville, Pennsylvania, and Hempstead, Texas.

“That’s the best one we’ve ever had,” Roker said with a laugh towards the segment’s end.

While Snoop’s been a lifelong weed enthusiast, even opening his first licensed smoke shop in Los Angeles in July, the 52-year-old has been putting in work on NBC. The rapper currently co-judges music competition The Voice, occasionally guests on TODAY, and over the summer, provided on-the-ground reporting during the 2024 Paris Olympics. With the next Summer Olympics being set for Los Angeles, Snoop will surely represent for the west coast once the games come to his home state in 2028.
