Tyler, the Creator Brings Hip-Hop to Whoville With 'I Am the Grinch': Listen

Putting a hip-hop spin on the vacation season, Tyler, the Creator unveiled on Friday (Nov. 9) his authentic music “I Am the Grinch” for the brand new Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch film.

In traditional Tyler, the Creator style, the hip-holiday monitor provides a playful vibe with an eccentric narrative. Describing the movie's plot, Tyler raps, "I used to be in snow/ Ain't want a coat/ Max with the sled/ Off with their head/ I don't like love/ I don't like enjoyable/ When I'm round/ Christmas is completed."

Rhyming over the dreamy beat, the MC delivers a grumpy circulate that fully matches the Grinch's character.

In addition to the energetic music, the rapper additionally contributed to the soundtrack with a canopy of "You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” Both the film and the unique soundtrack are out now.
