Travis Scott’s Grandmothers Honored at Cactus Jack Garden Event in Houston

Travis Scott‘s grandmothers were honored Wednesday with a dedication ceremony in Houston.

Miss Sealie Flood and Bernice Webster were in attendance for the unveiling of the 11th Cactus Jack Garden, which has been named after them. “Sealie Flood + Bernice Webster Corner” not only honors Scott’s grandmothers whose influence shaped his life and legacy, the garden continues the efforts of the Cactus Jack Foundation – Cactus Jack Gardens initiative, which aims to provide food resources to students facing food insecurities.

The ceremony was also attended by students from Highland Heights elementary school, who received Cactus Jack Foundation aprons, gloves, seed kits, tools and more, as part of a hands-on learning event that culminated in the planting of a tree in honor of Scott’s grandmothers.

Earlier this month, Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack Foundation held its Third Annual HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic. The event saw baseball legends Manny Ramirez, Robinson Canó, Prince Fielder and Ryan Howard pull up to Daikin Park in Houston, Texas.
