Travis Scott Brings Out Kanye West to Perform “Runaway” and More in a Jason Voorhees Mask
Scott made similar remarks last August when Ye hit the stage during an early Utopia-era concert livestreaming from Italy, telling attendees, “It’s been only one human being on this motherfucking planet that has ever walked side-by-side with me, through anything and every motherfucking thing. … There is no Utopia without Kanye West. There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West. There is no Rome without Kanye West.”
Trav and Ye—whose collective six children are cousins via Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner—have teamed as far back as 2012 on projects including Cruel Summer, Owl Pharaoh, Yeezus, and 2023’s Utopia, putting out songs like “Praise God,” “Piss on Your Grave,” “Wash Us in the Blood,” and “Champions” along the way.
