Travis Scott Becomes Rey Mysterio’s Tag Team Partner at Fanatics Fest

Travis Scott may have a future in professional wrestling after Rey Mysterio crowned him as a new tag team partner at Fanatics Fest.

During the sports and music convention in New York City, Mysterio spoke with fans at the WWE entrance activation, where people could mimic their favorite wrestlers and walk out to their theme song. As fans were taking in Mysterio’s aura, the future WWE Hall of Famer introduced La Flame as his new tag-team partner.

The giant screen showed an explosion with Scott’s hit single “FE!N” playing in the background, and the rapper appeared wearing one of Mysterio’s iconic luchador masks. Scott turned up with fans before Mysterio graced him with a WWE Houston Astros Legacy title belt, which he paraded around the convention.

While it’s unclear if Scott will actually compete in a WWE wrestling ring, it seems like he is working on something with the company, as this interaction with Mysterio is the latest he’s done so far.In March, Scott appeared in a backstage segment with Jey Uso and sat ringside on RAW. If that weren’t enough, “FE!N” was used in the teaser video for the upcoming Wrestlemania 41, which many fans think will be the event’s official theme song.

If he does compete, Scott will join Bad Bunny in the latest group of celebrities who actually wrestled in a WWE ring. Bad Bunny had a stunning debut competing at Wrestlemania 37 and had a memorable match with one of the loudest fan reactions in wrestling history at Backlash 2023 in his home country of Puerto Rico.
