‘The Joe Budden Podcast’ Releases Footage of Them Playing Basketball, Fans Think It’s Hilarious

The Joe Budden Podcast played basketball for an episode, and it didn’t go so well.

Released to their Patreon subscribers, Budden and his podcasting crew went hooping for a basketball game. Co-hosts Marc Lamont Hill, Richard Parks Vallely, and Emanny Salgado were on one team, while Budden and Antwan ‘Ish’ Marby were on the other team, with some of their recurring podcast guests and friends filling the rest of their respective rosters.

After the episode went live, fans of the podcast were quick to point out that none of them were exactly NBA All-Stars. Several hilariously bad clips from the episode have since been shared on social media, which can be seen below.

When fans started clowning about their performance, several members of the crew responded by joining in with the jokes. “I’m crying… We look like pure shit out there,” joked Joe Budden. “This might be the funniest footage ever released.”

When someone shared an egregious attempt at scoring by Richard Parks Vallely, he simply replied, “AI.”

Marc Lamont Hill, meanwhile, responded to the criticism in stride.

“I’m sure we could all play better with some training and practice,” he wrote. “But I firmly accept that I’m WASHED. In my 20s and even early 30s, the game would eventually come back to me. When we played on Saturday, it felt like a new sport. Lol.” In a follow-up tweet, he added, “For me, and probably Joe, it was an assumption that we could just go in a gym after years of not playing and just pick up where we left off. It was the humbling we all needed!”
