Tee Grizzley Looks to Motivate the Streets On 'Wake Up' With Chance the Rapper: Listen

Months after releasing his debut album Activated, Tee Grizzley seems to inspire the trenches on his new file "Wake Up" with Chance the Rapper.

The soulful monitor finds Grizzley and Chance rapping with aplomb, encouraging nook boys to remain optimistic regardless of their every day tussles on the streets. "Daydream, make a plan, write it out, don't neglect that your thoughts free," Grizzley asserts.

On the flipside, Chance, identified for his altruism, speaks on his determination to offer again to his neighborhood. "I'm within the trenches (I'm within the trenches)/ I give 'em hope (Hope, hope)/ I get 'em books (I get 'em books)/ I get 'em coats (I get 'em coats)," he raps over the J Gramm-produced beat.

"Wake Up" will stay on Grizzley's forthcoming mission Still My Moment, which drops Friday (Nov. 9). For Grizzley, Nov. 9 marks his first day without work parole and can allow him to journey out the nation for the primary time since his incarceration two years in the past.
