Snoop Dogg Playfully Responds to Viral Rapper Dave Blunts Calling Him Out

Snoop Dogg has playfully responded to viral rapper Dave Blunts after the younger artist called out the West Coast legend for comments about his weight.

During a performance at Juice WRLD Day in Chicago last week, 23-year-old Dave Blunts performed while seated on a couch with an oxygen tank onstage. Addressing the setup, he asked the audience, “Chicago, do y’all have a problem with me sitting down on this stage?” The crowd responded enthusiastically, to which he added: “Exactly! So get the fuck off my dick, Snoop Dogg. … Snoop, you think you funny? You don’t know what it’s like to fight for your life every damn day.”

On Sunday, December 1, Snoop reacted to the viral rant with a video. Laughing, he said, “That was funny. Go ahead, lil homie… I mean big homie. Do ya thang, ‘cuz, I ain’t fucking with you. Have your fun. I apologize to this n***a and he’s still going off on me, ‘cuz. I must be getting old.”

Snoop followed up with a playful post of his own, sharing a video montage of himself holding various cans onstage, soundtracked by Dave Blunts’ track The Cup. In the clip, Snoop offered his spin on the song, replacing the lyric “the cup” with “the blunt.”

“I can’t put down the blunt,” he laughed in the video. “Leave me alone, ‘cuz. I’m trying to enjoy my lil’ life over here. Go keep doing your shows, man. Keep rocking and rolling, man. I’m with you, dawg. I ain’t against you. I’m with you. I can’t put down the blunt and you can’t put down the cup!”

Dave Blunts appeared to appreciate the lighthearted jab, commenting with laughing emojis on Snoop’s post.

Last month, as a video of Dave Blunts performing went viral on social media, Snoop shared a comment about the rapper that he has since apologized for. “Put down the chicken wings and tata chips nefew and that chair gone break soon get to the end of [the] cup,” he wrote.
