Seminal Oakland-based indie rock outfit, Rogue Wave, have returned from a two-year hiatus to delight fans with a new single, “Aesop Rock”. The track’s title is a playful response to the cult-classic rapper, Aesop Rock, naming his latest single “Rogue Wave” earlier this year. It’s anchored by pulsing guitar rhythms and percussion that provides a sense of urgency to the otherwise ethereal arrangements.
