Rageouz is all about his "Privacy" –
East London emcee Rageouz is back in business as he shares with us the visuals for his single “Privacy,” the latest single taken off his recently released Building Blocks EP. The rising artist shows why he is one to watch as he effortlessly blends elements of classic rap, trap, and grime.
Over the sparse, somewhat ominous backdrop, his lyrics focus on the need to maintain his privacy for a plethora of reasons. Armed with a distinct commanding flow, Rageouz preaches about blocking out the unnecessary noise around him so as to focus on being a better individual. The visual has a nice DIY cinematic aesthetic to it courtesy of Terry, who scripted and directed the video. The style is far from the obvious performance-focused visuals and relies on the privacy theme. Even the star Rageouz doesn’t appear until about 2 minutes into the video and he immediately comes in, gets the job done and he’s back on the road again.
