Paragon Don connects with APHRO XOXO on “Human”

Hailing from North Carolina, rising artist Paragon Don has spent the last year and a half building a substantial buzz. After bursting on to the scene with his 2020 project, Last Year Local, Don continued to impress with a string of well-received singles. Looking to push things a little further, he returns to our pages with his blissful new video for, "Human."

Produced by Rommel Donald, “Human,” is a fast-paced, engaging record about Don attempting to court a woman. Speaking on how they could be happier together, as well as few flexes about running a record label, he utilizes his slick flow to make it sound more like a conversation than a song. Once the serene vocals of APHRO XOXO come in, you’re transported back into the record, where APHRO and Don both handle their roles perfectly. While Don does a brilliant job on his lone verse, he never tries to step on APHRO’s toes on the hook, and vice versa, making for a wonderfully sequenced record that's incredibly hard to turn off.
