Offset Says He Won’t Get Married Again, Suggests Other Men Avoid It: ‘Wait ‘Til You Get That Money’

Offset says he’s not interested in tying the knot ever again.

In a new interview with Kyle Forgard for the Full Send Podcast, the Kiari rapper was asked if he would ever get married again near the 39-minute mark in the video linked above.

“No, it’s not for me,” said the 33-year-old. “I’ve done it, had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete.”

“But you would never want to be, like, again married happily ever after, like ‘this is my chick forever’ type shit?” Forgard asked.

Offset shook his head silently before saying, “Everything’s temporary.”

When asked if he would ever recommend marriage, the Migos alum was equally blunt.

“No … I’ll tell you don’t get married,” he explained. “I would say unless you’re cool with changing your life … [If] you got a partner, that’s different. Especially when it’s written and it’s a real thing.”

He also mentioned that marriage can clash with the demands that come with being a rapper.

“Depends on how we move like our careers and shit, it’s just hard … I wouldn’t tell you to get married while you moving. Wait ‘till you get that money,” Offset said. “I got to party sometimes, I got to shut down, they come with the career.”

Offset and Cardi B had been in an on-and-off relationship since they began dating in early 2017 and tied the knot later that year. Cardi filed for divorce for a third—and presumably final time in July 2024. They share three children together: seven-year-old daughter Kulture, four-year-old son Wave, and Blossom who was born last September.

Offset also has three other children from previous relationships.
