OCTOBER’S TOP 3 HOTTEST NEW HIP HOP MUSIC VIDEOS
There’s nothing more exciting than getting a notification saying your favorite artist just dropped a new music video. While we’re very appreciative of the new age track, we can’t help but wait for the visuals to actually drop. There’s just something more exciting about pairing lyrics with images and actually seeing the artist perform the song(Well, in most cases). So far, the month of October has been a productive one for some of our favorite hip hop artists. In this segment, we’re going to break down for you October’s hottest new hip hop music videos. 1- Eminem- “Venom” The rap god himself decided to bless us with his generosity, when he dropped his latest album Kamikaze towards the end of August. With various tracks highlighting his genius ways, Eminem is still on the grind with the drop of his music videos. “Venom” is the last track on Kamikaze and also appears on the soundtrack to the upcoming Tom Hardy-starring Marvel movie of the same name. As a continuation of his “Fall” music video, this video starts right where he left off. The CD he ended up stepping on actually contains his 2017 album Revival and is seen getting picked up by a different person who starts experiencing the same anti social effects. That disc contains a symbiote similar to the Marvel anti-hero's, and causes a bunch of people to act in anti-social ways. Since then, Post Malone has been touring and blessing his fans with some of his most memorable performances. Just like any other artist out there, Malone has a cameraman following his every step during tour, and capturing some of his most iconic moments. Who wouldn’t want to reminisce that? In this case, instead of accumulating the footage and keeping them to himself, the “Better Now” singer decided to put together a nostalgic video that shows him getting all the love and support from his fans. I that’s not something that’ll make you feel “Better Now,” then we don’t know what is. Watch “Better Now” here: 3- Tekashi 6ix9ine- “STOOPID” Looks like Tekashi is trying to secure his bags amid all the attacks he’s been getting from various sources. The alleged “King of New York” has been generous enough this past week to drop his latest single “STOOPID” as well as the music video. The song guest features Bobby Shmurda who’s currently in jail and expected to get released sometime soon. In the video, Tekashi is shown living his best life, driving expensive cars and flexing while surrounded by camels. Once on a roller coaster, the rapper gets on the phone with Bobby, who gives his two cents about everything that’s going on. The lyrics may be a bit too intense for us to quote them, but 69 did not hold back and unleashed his raw thoughts on Ebro Darden. Watch “STOOPID” here:
