Millyz Drops Video Single “Risk Takers” Featuring Albee Al and Leaf Ward

Massachusetts hip-hop vet Millyz has just shared his new video single “Risk Takers” (feat. Albee Al & Leaf Ward) off of his forthcoming album Blanco 6, out 4/7. “Risk Takers” is a meeting of the North East hip-hop royalty as Millyz links up with New Jersey barspitter Albee Al and Philadelphia standout Leaf Ward as the talented trio trade verses about the trials and tribulations of their respective come-ups over a twisted soul sample. The visual for “Risk Takers” shows Millyz, Albee Al, and Leaf Ward posted with their cliques amongst a haze of smoke, designer clothes, and glistening jewelry as they skate through their memorable verses. The track serves as a filling appetizer for the lyrical gymnastics, vivid visuals and pronounced craftsmanship Millyz is bringing on his forthcoming album Blanco 6out 4/7.

Millyz lit the internet on fire all of last year with standout freestyles on L.A. LeakersThe Come Up Show, and most recently Fire In The Booth. In 202s, things started to really heat up for him with the release of his last project Blanco 4The album had a string of successful singles including “Emotions” featuring G Herbo“Benny Blanco” alongside expert bar spitter Benny The Butcher & “Hopeless” with Jadakiss. Leading up to the release of his 2022 Blanco 5, Millyz released the singles “Ashes In The Maybach” featuring Mozzy“Love/Hate” (feat. Gio Dee) and “Closure”.

After grinding for over a decade, the Cambridge, Massachusetts rapper Millyz has finally found his moment in the spotlight. Through his cutthroat lyricism, haunting imagery, and unceasing charisma, he has caught the attention of hip-hop heads and critics alike. In the 2010s, Millyz was selling mixtapes out of his car in hopes of making it big. It wasn’t until 2013 that he started catching serious attention for his mixtape Future Memories, which included a key verse from Jadakiss on “The Plug (Remix)“. For the next 10 years, Kiss would serve as a mentor for Millyz, guiding him through the complicated waters of modern-day hip-hop. He continued to make a name for himself for the next few years and started developing a real following after a standout freestyle at the BET Awards in 2016. Based on his pure ability on the mic, he started to gain the momentum he had been searching for his entire career. As his notoriety started to surge and he was developing a dedicated following, he dropped Blanco 3 in 2020 alongside artists like the legendary Jim Jones.
