Machine Gun Kelly Calls Fiancée Megan Fox ‘Extremely Helpful’ in Supporting Him Going to Rehab

Actress Megan Fox was a firm supporter in ensuing that her fiancée, Machine Gun Kelly, made a full recovery from alcohol and drug dependency.

The Mainstream Sellout artist was the latest guest on Bunnie XO podcast Dumb Blonde, where early in the episode, the 34-year-old shared that he was dependent on weed and alcohol and pills Vyvans, hydrocodone and Percocet. The latter substance was also frequently used by MGK’s late father.

But in admitting that he no longer drinks, last having a drink in August 2023 around the time he entered rehab, MGK expressed that Fox has been one of his biggest advocates.

“Megan has for sure been extremely helpful in dealing with the kind of psychological withdrawals that come with,” he said around the 1:48:00-minute mark.

“I just been really happy seeing everybody, right?” he continued. “Like, I love that I’m clear when I look at, you know, the person I love. I’m really happy that when I’m clear, when my daughter [15-year-old Casie] and I are having our conversations. And I’m coming from a place of being centered and holding space for what a child needs from their parent, you know, which is patience and advice that doesn’t come from, like, ‘I just want to get through this so I can go and satiate this.'”

Earlier in the interview, around the 1:10:00-mark, MGK said that Fox “struck a bullseye” upon them meeting in 2020. The two were cast in crime thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass.

“And when I felt that sense light up, everything else went away, and I learned what it was to accept living,” he said. “That was like–It gave purpose to everything I was confused at, why I was here for. And so, I’m forever grateful to God and indebted to the destiny lines that wove me and her together. Because that was something where, you know, when I saw her eyes for the first time, it was like I had a telescope to every secret in the universe.”

The couple, who’ve been engaged since January 2022, have frequently spoken about their “twin flame relationship.” In March, Fox was on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she talked about drinking a “drop” of MGK’s blood during an “innocent” ritual.
