Lyric Jones and Rah Digga flex their styles on “Want To Say” [Video]

After dropping her new LP Closer Than They Appear approximately a month ago, Lyric Jones is back in the field with the visuals for the Rah Digga assisted song, “Want To Say.”  The bravado-laden track sees Jones in full form delivering solid bars from start to finish over BlaaqGold‘s scintillating beat. She is sharp as ever with lines like “Loyal to the game, courtside like Spike Lee/Floating to the next scene watch the Nikes/ A crow’s grudge, I remember faces even now we throwing masks on a daily basis” while Rah Digga helps out with the adlibs.

The John Benneche-directed video matches Jones’ lyrical proficiency with stylish aesthetics ranging from noir set pieces to color-coordinated costumes.  Jones sure holds it down with a sultry performance and also shows us that she can get down on the drum set too. The inclusion of Rah Digga dials up the energy, perfectly matching the mood of the visuals where she and Jones give off that classic Puff and Ma$e type chemistry.

“Want To Say” is taken from Jone’s Closer Than They Appear LP, which can be Streamed/purchased here.
