Live ‘Drink Champs’ With Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre Coming to ComplexCon 2024

Drink Champs is hosting a live podcast episode as part of ComplexCon 2024 in Las Vegas.

Monday, it was announced that Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre would be the guests for the live episode, which is part of this year’s ComplexCon(versations) lineup. The discussion, led by Drink Champs duo N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, is set for noon local time on Nov. 16 and is presented, fittingly, by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop.

The live episode is particularly timely, as Snoop and Dre will soon be rolling out Missionary, a new album that’s notably arriving more than 30 years after the Dre-produced Death Row classic Doggystyle. A tracklist for the 15-song project was recently revealed, with 50 Cent and the late Tom Petty among the highlights from the assembled features.

“This is the first time that we got together and worked on an entire album in 30 years,” Dre told Complex earlier this year. “I feel like it’s some of the best music I’ve ever made and I’m really proud of it.” According to Dre, fans can expect “a certain level of maturity” from his collaborator on this album, which he declined to label under any particular genre.

“I’m not sure what to call it,” he said back in August. “I’ll just say there’s a level of maturity that comes along with the production, the musicianship, the lyrics, Snoop’s performance, all of that. It’s a step above, which it should be at this age with us.”
