Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti Tease Joint Mixtape With New Song 'Bankroll': Listen

Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti previously teased their collaborative mixtape last September, and now it seems as if the tandem is ready to give fans a taste their new music ahead the project's release. On Wednesday (Feb. 21), Uzi and Carti unveiled their latest team-up “Bankroll” presumably f their upcoming project titled 16*29.

The artwork for the single features Polaroid photos Uzi and Carti with “16*29” written at the bottom the photo. The DP Beats-produced track layers colorful synths and skittering drums behind Uzi's melodic sing-song voice as he croons, “Diamonds flooded, like they sank/ I've been pulling up in a tank/ But my money got no limit/ And my car don't got no ceiling.”

Playboi Carti enters later on in the song and joins Uzi in a harmonious duet and the two continue to flex their vocals until the song ends.

Carti teased the joint mixtape last September when he uploaded a photo  Captain Sensible and Dave Vanian from '70s punk band The Damned on his Snapchat with the caption “Carti Uzi Tape * Uzi Carti Tape * 16.29.”
