Last year, Lil Uzi Vert made headlines when he dared to make a risky jump for an epic crowd surfing moment at Rolling Loud Miami and has clearly been waiting on the chance to repeat history as he decided to do the same thing at this year’s iteration of the hip-hop music festival in the 305.
Just like the first time, on Day One of this year’s Rolling Loud Uzi climbed his way atop the highest edifice in his line of sight and pumps the crowd up before making a sign of the cross across his chest, sending it up to the sky, and taking a quite literal leap of faith into his sea of adoring fans. He soon finds himself floating in among a load of arms more than willing to carry the rapper’s weight.
Later on in the evening, fans were treated to a headlining set from King of Dreamville J. Cole. Today, acts on the lineup include the likes of Metro Boomin, Gucci Mane, Migos, headliner Travis Scott, and a special surprise guest that many have speculated could be the newly-released Meek Mill.
Sunday, the lineup will be outfitted with looks from livestream of the festivities all weekend long.
