A staple of the Paper Route Empire family and the Memphis scene, Kenny Muney carries a chip on his shoulder with the confidence to outwork any impetuous opp that aims to knock it off. Taking inspiration from late heroes of the hustle like Kobe Bryant and his mentor, Young Dolph, Kenny shares his new video for “No Days Off,” the opening song from his recent project Time Is Muney, and will appear on Time Is Muney (Deluxe), coming soon via Paper Route Empire.

Directed by 35Miles, the “No Days Off” video opens with a pair of quotes from his aforementioned role models, both speaking to the work ethic it takes to achieve greatness. As the track kicks off with its dark, striking piano keys, Kenny gets right to work with a barrage of bossed up bars. The video could serve as Kenny’s resume, as he’s shown breaking down boxes in a high-vis vest, trimming up product in a grow house, and working remotely as a salesman in the hand-to-hand department. Just like Dolph’s influence is embodied in Kenny’s music, Kobe’s is embodied in the video with Kenny adorning a bald cap and Lakers jersey to deliver his Mamba-esque flex: “100 late nights in the trap, they done paid off/Balling on these n****s like my head got shaved off.”

Released in February, Time Is Muney is a project suited for headphones–the better to be mesmerized by Kenny’s hypnotic flows. The tape is home to recent singles like “Backend Freestyle,” a flex heavy track that allowed Muney to reintroduce himself to fans, both new and old, and “Worthless,” which received a tequila-fueled music video. Time Is Muney features guest appearances from Kenny’s PRE associates Big Moochie Grape and Key Glock, and a guest spot from Dreezy on the romantic “Nobody.” Time Is Muney is available everywhere.

In the run up to Time Is Muney, the Paper Route Empire signee kept himself busy by releasing multiple singles, including “Lowkey,” “For Kenny,” “Long Time Coming,” and “Poppin It.” In July 2021, Paper Route Empire released their first ever compilation mixtape, PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi, which heavily featured Young Dolph, Key Glock, and Kenny Muney among other label members. To kick off 2022, Kenny memorialized Dolph with “Role Model,” a touching tribute to Dolph which racked up over 1.7 million views on YouTube in its first two weeks, and appears on Time Is Muney, as well as the recent Paper Route Empire Presents: Long Live Dolph mixtape.

With Time Is Muney, Kenny Muney showed that he has the talent and determination to succeed in the Empire-building business. Stay tuned for more from Kenny Muney and Paper Route Empire, including Time Is Muney (Deluxe).
