Kai Cenat and NLE Choppa’s “BUSTDOWN ROLLIE AVALANCHE” Gets Gold Certification
Kai Cenat now has a Recording Industry Association of America-certified gold plaque thanks to “BUSTDOWN ROLLIE AVALANCHE,” his collaborative record with NLE Choppa.
Earlier this week, Cenat shared a post on his Instagram Story announcing that the joint single with Choppa has been certified gold. The song, “Bustdown Rollie Avalanche,” was released in May 2022 and came with an accompanying music video.
The song received its gold certification on May 7, and Cenat expressed his excitement in his IG Story with a simple laughing emoji. The song has proven to be a hit as it has been streamed over 84 million times on Spotify. For a song to go gold, it must sell or stream an equivalent of 500,000 copies.
In addition to grabbing a gold plaque, Kai is getting ready to launch his Streamer University. Kai explained in a video that the new platform is a place where “chaos is encouraged and content is king.” Those looking to enroll in Kai’s Streaming University can do so by going to streameruniversity.com.
Kai previously announced what this new project was during a Twitch livestream and even revealed wanting his fellow streamers such as Mr. Beast to join in on the fun.
“I’m going to rent out a university over a course of a weekend. It will be streaming university. Okay? I’m going to rent it out,” said Kai. “I’m going to put out enrolls and applications of people to enroll into the university, no matter if you’re big, no matter if you’re a small streamer, you can stream the entire weekend.”
He continued, “In terms of the classes and sht, for example, I would love to do some shit where, science, Mark Rober is the professor for that day, and he’s doing crazy experiments for everybody’s stream. Say there is a financial class, MrBeast in that motherfucker.”
