Justin Timberlake Says He’s ‘So Disappointed’ After Postponing New Jersey Concert Due to Injury
Justin Timberlake has abruptly postponed his New Jersey concert.
The 43-year-old singer was scheduled to bring The Forget Tomorrow World Tour to the Prudential Center in Newark on Tuesday.
However, an unspecified injury sidelined the performer just hours before the show was set to start.
“I’m so sorry to postpone tonight’s show. I have an injury that is preventing me from performing. I’m so disappointed to not see you all – but I’m working to reschedule ASAP,” Timberlake wrote on his Instagram account on Tuesday. “I promise to make it up to you and give you the show y’all deserve. Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always. – JT”
A source connected to the “Cry Me a River” singer told TMZ that he was seen by a doctor last night regarding an ankle injury.
Timberlake’s next tour performances are scheduled for Friday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. on Sunday. It’s unclear if these shows will be affected by his injury.
The NSYNC alum has a hefty touring schedule that will have him performing arenas in North America through December 20 when he plays the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. After a brief holiday break, Timberlake will head back out on the road to finish the U.S. leg of the tour before performing in South America and Europe through July 2025.
