FULMETALPARKA$ drops engaging new video for “GUGU”
Hailing from Virginia, rising rapper FULMETALPARKA$ has spent the last few years or so slowly, but surely, carving out an engaged fan base. Known for his employment of upbeat production and high-octane energy, he's used eclectic videos to showcase both his creativity as a rapper and a visual artist. Looking to take this notion further, he checks into our pages for the first time with is trippy new video for, "GUGU."
Fully written and produced by FULMETALPARKA$ himself, “GUGU” is inspired by the anime To Your Eternity, where one of the main characters is consistently dealt bad hands, only for the moment he finds love and peace of mind, he dies. Utilizing his vast rang as a vocalist, the Virginia native spends the record combining it with his abilities as a songwriter to completely entrance the listener. Directed by Jet and PARKA$, the visual does a great job of complementing these notions, as the main actress, Thao, steals her parents car, and proceeds to pick up her friends for a joyride that ends up in an unnecessary situation, bringing the whole situation full circle.
Spending the rest of the year focusing on releasing singles, we can expect to hear more from FULMETALPARKA$. Until then, take a peek at the video above and get familiar with him below.
