
Flau’Jae Drops New R&B Album ‘Flau & B’ Just in Time for Valentine’s Day
Flau’jae celebrated Valentine’s Day by dropping a new R&B-inspired album, Flau & B.
The star NCAA basketball player that’s known for her rapping ability, showcased her singing skills on the album that’s out via Flauge Entertainment/Roc Nation Distribution. In a press release, she compares her ability to rap and sing to playing both offense and defense on the court.
Flau & B has seven tracks about love, infidelity, and loneliness. Upon release, it took off on the charts. According to a post that Flau’jae reposted on X, it was #12 on the R&B/Soul chart on iTunes yesterday. “Omg this is crazy, I don’t think I’ve ever charted this high,” she wrote in the repost. What a blessinggggggg.”
Flau’jae also revealed that she recorded the song “OTW” on Flau & B by herself in a post on X after a fan rated it a 10/10.
Dropping Flau & B wasn’t the only major move that Flau’jae did for Valentine’s Day. She shared a video on social media of her surprising her teammates at Louisiana State University with gift bags from designer stores.
In the video, Flau’jae gathered the team to give them their flowers. “We’ve got to put our best foot forward and I feel like everybody is in their bag,” she said.
Flau’Jae’s Flau & B comes on the heels of Best of Both Worlds, which was released last November and featured collaborations with Lil Wayne, 2Rare, and NLE Choppa.
