Fashawn, Sir Veterano, and Aloe Blacc lead us into their “Castle” [Video]
Central Valley, California producer Sir Veterano shares the Yellow Nguyen-directed music video for "Castle", his new collaboration with Fresno, California rapper Fashawn featuring Aloe Blacc. The feel-good track is an adulation-filled record that serves as a tribute to the women who give their lives meaning and it's bolstered by a bouncy West Coast synth-driven production by Sir Veterano himself. Fashawn kicks it off with his characteristic smooth flow riddled with praises for his queen who has held him down since day one and Aloe Blacc chimes in on the chorus with his lush melodic runs.
Director Yellow Nguyen pulls out all the stops with this exquisite visual and captures both Fashawn and Aloe Blacc in their finest gentleman threads. The set pieces are superbly presented, from the grand locations to the beautiful queens who appear alongside the kings, the video sure sticks to the theme of the project.
"Castle" appears on their brand new Fresh Yard Records full-length All Hail The King, also featuring guest appearances from eLZhi, Planet Asia, and DJ Revolution. The "Castle" visual comes on the heels of clips for AHTK singles "All Hail The King." and "This Town."
