Eminem Launches Merchandise Collection Celebrating 20 Years of ‘The Slim Shady LP’

The Slim Shady LP put Eminem on the map in hip-hop, and marked the moment the Detroit native began his ascension toward rap's pantheon of greats. With the multi-platinum project celebrating its 20th anniversary back in February, Em announced plans to commemorate the effort that included hits like "My Name Is," "Guilty Conscious," and "Just Don't Give a Fuck" with an exclusive merchandise collection.

The capsule plays off of his motto at the time of "not giving a fuck" and will release through his online store on Friday (April 26). There also looks to be some never-before-seen album artwork that will be unveiled alongside the collection.

"YO! PSA - #SSLP20 stuff drops Friday! Went back with @dannyhastings and @skam2official to make an anniversary capsule from the original + unseen Slim Shady LP art. More info and content this week before we drop Friday," Eminem wrote on Instagram.

Over the weekend (April 20), the 46-year-old acknowledged his 11th year milestone of sobriety. "Still not afraid," the Recovery rapper shared to Twitter with a photo holding a chip.

"There was a time when everything was kind of flying by the seat of my pants and I kind of didn't know what was happening to my life. That certainly did get the best of me, with drugs and the pressure of all that shit," he previously told Billboard in 2013. "I'm at a different point now, but I still want to rap with the same energy and intensity and passion as before because, at the end of the day, this is what I love."
