Drake Tells Amsterdam Crowd ‘This Is Where My Son Was Conceived’

Amsterdam will always have a link to Drake‘s 7-year-old son, Adonis Graham.
On Wednesday night (July 30) during his co-headlining $ome $pecial $hows 4 U Tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR, Drizzy took a moment to speak to the Ziggo Dome crowd and share how much Amsterdam means to him.
“I was saying backstage, like, ‘This is the place. A very special place in my heart, because this is where my son was conceived,'” Drake said, referring to his child with French visual artist Sophie Brussaux.
Drake continued, “It’s a big show for me, you know. I hold Amsterdam very dear to my heart. There would be no Adonis if there wasn’t an Amsterdam, so shout out to y’all.”
It’s been more than five years since Drake last performed in Amsterdam. This time, he’s holding down three nights at the Ziggo Dome, saying he brought his “whole fucking catalog” with him.
“I brought the whole clip. I came here to turn all the way up tonight. I brought every song I got,” the 6 God said. “Ay, I’m standing on this stage as long as you need me, so you feel fulfilled. That’s what I’m doing tonight.”
Drake kept the energy high for his “day ones” but shunned his competition, expressing that he didn’t reach career heights by “being a dickhead.”
“I got here by being good to people, being nice to people, and my karma is straight,” he told the crowd.
Drizzy has previously shouted out fans who showed love to young Adonis. The rapper donated $25,000 to someone with his son’s name on a sign during a concert in Australia in February.
