Drake Raps ‘This Sh*t Is Personal to Us’ in New Freestyle

Drake isn’t wasting any time in 2025.

Friday, Conductor Williams shared footage of a seemingly new freestyle from the 6 God. Its release comes as fans await word on a previously announced joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, as well as after last year’s historic back-and-forth with Kendrick Lamar.

Within minutes, Conductor’s IG post directing fans to the video had been removed. It was also not immediately clear when the footage itself was recorded.

“The world fell in love with the gimmicks/Even my brothers got tickets,” Drake raps at one point in the clip. “Seemed like they loved every minute/Just know this shit is personal to us and it wasn’t just business.”

Elsewhere, Drake ponders issues of loyalty (it “wasn’t a given”), imagines a “body double” being covered in dirt, and asserts that he doesn’t “give a fuck about you snakes or these other musicians.” He also imagines a collective crashing out, referencing an unnamed individual who “pulled a rabbit out the hat” before tucking in a playful nod to his own Nothing Was the Same album.

“Nothing was the same with all you bitches and nothing’s forgiven,” he raps.
