Drake Posts Video of Him Wandering Belgium Streets Alone at 5 AM
Even superstars like Drake can get some rare moments of solitude in public.
In a video posted to Instagram after a concert in Brussels, Belgium, the “Nokia” rapper can be seen on a quiet street. No security. No fans. Nothing.
“Mad show tonight,” Drake said, admiring the scenery of Brussels. “Literally out here outsideness. Just walking down the road, nobody knows I’m here.”
He pans the camera to show an empty cobblestone street. “Brussels is a nice spot out here,” he continues. “So blessed. Love taking a walk…Shoutout Belgium.”
The video was taken after he shut down Sportpaleis in Antwerp on Friday (Aug. 8) as part of his $ome $exy $ongs 4 U tour. But it’s back to business, as he will begin streaming on gambling platform Stake starting Saturday (Aug. 9).
While there’s no telling what the stream will contain, there may be a sneak peek of his highly anticipated forthcoming album, Iceman. In the first of two recent streams, he played “What Did I Miss?” a track that took shots at LeBron James for his questionable loyalty.
He also seemingly took digs at Kendrick Lamar.
According to a 2023 report from the Financial Times, Drake makes $100 million to endorse Stake each year.
