Desiigner Suggests His Vegan Diet and Medication Caused Him to Publicly Masturbate on Plane

Desiigner has suggested that his vegan diet is partly to blame for his indecent exposure incident onboard a flight to Japan last year.

In an interview with Adam22–who has sexual misconduct allegations of his own–the Brooklyn-born artist said that he was “fully tweaked out” during the trip and wasn’t aware of his behavior on the flight. “I didn’t know what I was doing,” he said. “I was fully tweaked out of my mind. This was when I was vegan, I didn’t have enough sugars and stuff like that… I was kind of, like, out of my body.”

The 27-year-old rapper was charged with indecent exposure over the incident, which he later pleaded guilty to. He was ordered to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to two years of probation and 120 hours of community service.

“It really wasn’t who my character was,” he continued. “I was on medication and just went to sleep on the plane.” When he landed, he said he was greeted by the FBI and was asked why he exposed and allegedly pleasured himself on the flight. “I had to get back home and get myself back together,” he added. When the news was circulating, he said he was concerned that people would see him as “a pervert.”
