Def Jam’s Nyne Wolf Is On The Hunt For A “Player Hater” In The Dark [Video]
Arising from the buzzing DMV underground hip-hop scene, newly-signed Def Jam recording artist Nyne Wolf hunts down the opposition in the gritty new visual for his magnetic hit “Player Hater.” Bolstered by pitched-down soulful samples and downtempo trap drums, Nyne Wolf aims at the naysayers and detractors with his distinct drawl and unapologetic lyrics reminding them not to get in his way. The hypnotic track is full of dark and gloomy aesthetics along with Nyne’s carefree flow.
With the backing of Def Jam, Nyne is currently working on his debut album which as he says will be a true representation of his hometown of DMV. He adds via email that his music will be thoroughly inspired by his life, growing up in Baltimore before returning to the DMW and hopes his success will inspire others like him.
The Clockwork Productions-directed visual matches the song’s energy as Wolf and the gang rush into the darkness to put a toe tag on anyone that had something negative to say about him. “Player Hater” follows the rising star’s previously released track “Greasy,” and showcases the artist’s impressive versatility. A trait he credits to the music he enjoys while lounging.
