Dean the Dream Shares Lead Single “Goodbye, Danny” From His New Album Hitchin’ It to Heaven

Detroit-born poet Brendan Alpiner shares the new single “Goodbye, Danny” off of his latest LP Hitchin’ It to Heaven. Released on July 29, 2022, the new album incorporates elements of grunge, blues, and ‘70s Punk.

Composed and arranged by Dean the Dream himself, “Goodbye, Danny” is a melancholic mix of Punk psychedelic rock and poetic lyrics: “I still think of you, when I’m lonely / feelin’ blue / Do you remember those days…” The song highlights Alpiner’s charming self and reveals his unique and vulnerable side.

Inspired by Black Sabbath and The Doors, Dean The Dream is known for his psychedelic, hypnotic blues, and old-school rock ‘n roll sounds that set a moody tone and result in a new genre, making the poetic artist incomparable and irreplicable.

The 7-track album Hitchin’ It To Heaven follows Dean the Dream’s debut LP Pink Sun, which includes beautifully rendered hits like “Four Roses,” “Roadrunner,” and “Misery’N”. In addition to “Goodbye, Danny,” the new record has popular songs like “Dying Staying Alive” and “It Hurts Me.”
