Dance-duo DRAMA delivers their latest, “Don’t Hold Back” [Video]

Chicago-based music duo DRAMA released their latest single "Don't Hold Back" this week. Comprised of producer Na'el Shehade and vocalist Via Rosa, "Don't Hold Back" is a song made in musical matrimony. Accompanied by the Eric Maldin-directed visual, the two showcase their talents and cohesive creation in front of the lens.

Following up to DRAMA's last hit "You've Done Enough", their new collab is another electrifying single bound to get you off the wall and fist-pumping. Between Rosa's skillful penmanship and Shehade's soulful production style, "Don't Hold Back" highlights an unlikely combination of dance and R&B. With an infectious beat, it's pretty easy to completely forget there are even lyrics. DRAMA describes their new cut as a fear of commitment between lovers. Rosa brings meaning to life with her downtempo, smooth vocals. Bringing together two very different styles may not always produce the best outcome, but DRAMA is proving that to be wrong. Overall, the pair successfully create a sound that defies genres. Well done.
