Curren$y announces the ‘Collection Agency’ tape on 2/26 and shares new video from the project
In an era where authenticity and consistency are key, Spitta’s been unapologetically himself and rapping at an elite. I’m excited to share with you that next Friday, February 26th, Curren$y is dropping his first full-length of 2021, Collection Agency.
Coming in at ten tracks, it’s a collection of smooth, smoked out anthems, and he’s bringing friends like Larry June, Harry Fraud and Trauma Tone along for the ride.
Last night, he dropped off the latest from the project, “Kush through the Sunroof” (hits DSPs on 2/19) which finds the Jet Life MC posted in a loft, smoking and sipping while spinning some soulful vinyls. The track itself is a laidback and vintage cut, as Curren$y rides over hi-hats and 808s with ease. Collection Agency is also home to “Misty,” which dropped earlier in February. This tape serves as a follow-up to two standout 2020 collab tapes – The OutRunners(w/ Harry Fraud) and Smokin’ Potnas (w/ Fendi P). Check out the new video below.
